What is on the ground in Ladakh
Ladakh is planned around passes, seasons and altitude before it is planned around posts. Leh carries a dense summer estate by Ladakh standards, with hotels and guest houses in Leh and Choglamsar, a hospital, airport-adjacent premises, fuel depots and warehouses on the Choglamsar road, and nearly all of it peaks from June to September and runs near-empty through a frozen winter. Kargil's requirement sits in and around the town: offices, fuel stations and NH-1 truck halts, and apricot grading and cold stores, with telecom masts and substations an hour or more apart up the Suru and Wakha valleys.
Beyond the two towns each district is reached on its own terms. Nubra's hotels, camps and homestays at Hunder, Diskit, Sumur and Turtuk sit behind a high pass that weather can close for days, and Changthang's tented camps at Pangong and Tso Moriri and the Hanle observatory campus lie in high-altitude clusters where permits are needed and winter nights stop movement. Zanskar's new district offices at Padum, its monasteries, trek camps and road contractor camps are reachable by one road that shuts for months, while Drass sits on the Zoji La gateway, where tunnel-portal works, NH-1 fuel points and contractor camps work a highway that avalanches shut. Sham runs as a single line along the Indus, with monasteries holding movable heritage at Alchi, Likir and Lamayuru alongside homestays, roadside fuel points and apricot stores.
None of this is covered by a roster alone. Deployment here means relief in place before a pass closes, stores and fuel that last the season, and shift patterns that account for temperature and altitude, and that plan is agreed before the first officer travels.
Whose licence covers your site in Ladakh
PSARA is the Private Security Agencies (Regulation) Act, 2005. Under it each state issues its own licences to private security agencies, and a licence for one state does not cover a site in another. The one that matters is the licence covering Ladakh. We confirm in writing, before you sign, which licence covers your site and which agency holds it.

Common questions about a security company in Ladakh
Which PSARA licence covers a security guard site in Ladakh?
Each state issues its own PSARA licence, so only a licence issued for Ladakh covers a site in Ladakh. Before you sign, we put in writing the licence that covers your site there, ours or a PSARA-licensed partner agency’s, and the agency that holds it.
How can I check that a security agency deposits PF and ESI for its guards?
Ask for the monthly PF and ESI challans for the officers on your site, not a registration certificate. Premier Shield is a registered employer under the EPF and ESI Acts and provides the monthly challans on request; where a PSARA-licensed partner agency’s officers are on your site, you receive that agency’s challans.
How long does it take to deploy security guards in Ladakh?
Mobilisation is 7 days from a signed contract and replacement after attrition is 48 hours. Both are company standards, to which conditions apply, and your agreement sets them for your site. Armed posts and K9 teams take longer, and we give you a dated plan rather than a promise.
What you can hold us to in Ladakh
Before you sign, we confirm in writing the PSARA licence covering your site and the agency that holds it. Supervision is 1:10 at each site as a company standard, and the service agreement for your site sets the figures. Every officer deploys with an identity card issued against a verified antecedent file. We also provide the monthly Provident Fund and ESI challans for the officers on your site on request.
