When an agency deploys officers on your premises, that agency is their employer. Premier Shield is a registered employer under the EPF and ESI Acts, and the monthly Provident Fund and ESI challans for the officers on your site are provided on request, so the position is on paper every month.
Due diligence
The Premierr Standard
Buying private security? We put seven checks in writing, before you sign and after. The same seven are fair to ask of any agency on your shortlist.
Because these are the points that decide whether a security contract does what it says, and we would rather you judge us against them than against a brochure.
- The PSARA licence covering your site, and the agency that holds it, confirmed in writing before you sign.
- Monthly PF and ESI challans for the officers on your site, on request.
- Mobilisation and replacement, set in your service agreement.
- 1:10 supervision at each site as a company standard, with the figures for your site set in its service agreement.
- Incident reporting and escalation, written into the contract.
- Police verification for every officer, documented.
- Certificates you can check with whoever issued them.
- The Premierr Standard in full
Sessions from NISSMAT
NISSMAT — the National Institute of Security, Safety, Management and Applied Technology — is the think-tank and training institute in the same group, established in 1990 in New Delhi.
It runs a public discussion series on the working problems of Indian security — how the private industry is actually used, what the law expects, and where sites keep going wrong — led by retired senior police, military and legal experts. They are shared here because NISSMAT is part of our group.
They are NISSMAT’s recordings, not ours, and every link below goes to NISSMAT’s own page for that session. Nothing loads from a video player until you choose to open one.
