What is on the ground in Assam

Assam's guarding map follows the river and the tea. Tea estate factories, bungalows and garden stores need estate-perimeter and material-gate cover from Biswanath Chariali and the Mazbat and Paneri belt on the north bank to Jorhat, Dibrugarh and Tinsukia in the upper valley. Upper Assam adds hydrocarbons: oilfield installations, gathering stations and contractor camps around Nazira, Lakwa and Sonari, refinery-grade plants at Namrup and Lepetkata, and in Tinsukia a spread that runs from refinery access discipline to mine-gate weighbridge control at Margherita and Ledo.

Guwahati and the districts around it form a different market. Guwahati holds the secretariat at Dispur, a refinery and river port, the airport at Borjhar, teaching hospitals, malls, multi-tenant offices and the Fancy Bazar trading district, while across the river in Kamrup the growth centres at Amingaon, Chaygaon-Jambari and Patgaon and two large institutional campuses bring construction and contractor traffic. Beyond the city, the multimodal logistics park and river cargo terminal at Jogighopa make cargo integrity and vehicle control the priority, and at Jagiroad a greenfield electronics plant under construction calls for contractor camps, material gates and laydown-yard cover.

The Barak Valley, the hills and the river islands set their own terms. Silchar combines a central university, an NIT campus, a medical college hospital and the airport at Kumbhirgram, and the Sutarkandi crossing in Sribhumi, formerly Karimganj, brings customs, warehousing and truck holding areas in a border zone. In Dima Hasao, landslide season and long access roads govern relief and rotation, and in Karbi Anglong and West Karbi Anglong the autonomous council's role changes how contracts and approvals work. On Majuli every site is reached by boat, so rosters run to ferry timings and the flood season, and on the char lands river access shapes how deployments are rostered and relieved.

Whose licence covers your site in Assam

PSARA is the Private Security Agencies (Regulation) Act, 2005. Under it each state issues its own licences to private security agencies, and a licence for one state does not cover a site in another. The one that matters is the licence covering Assam. We confirm in writing, before you sign, which licence covers your site and which agency holds it.

Common questions about a security company in Assam

Which PSARA licence covers a security guard site in Assam?

Each state issues its own PSARA licence, so only a licence issued for Assam covers a site in Assam. Before you sign, we put in writing the licence that covers your site there, ours or a PSARA-licensed partner agency’s, and the agency that holds it.

How can I check that a security agency deposits PF and ESI for its guards?

Ask for the monthly PF and ESI challans for the officers on your site, not a registration certificate. Premier Shield is a registered employer under the EPF and ESI Acts and provides the monthly challans on request; where a PSARA-licensed partner agency’s officers are on your site, you receive that agency’s challans.

How long does it take to deploy security guards in Assam?

Mobilisation is 7 days from a signed contract and replacement after attrition is 48 hours. Both are company standards, to which conditions apply, and your agreement sets them for your site. Armed posts and K9 teams take longer, and we give you a dated plan rather than a promise.

What you can hold us to in Assam

Before you sign, we confirm in writing the PSARA licence covering your site and the agency that holds it. Supervision is 1:10 at each site as a company standard, and the service agreement for your site sets the figures. Every officer deploys with an identity card issued against a verified antecedent file. We also provide the monthly Provident Fund and ESI challans for the officers on your site on request.
