NH-8 and the border crossings set the pattern for guarding in Tripura. In North Tripura, most goods entering the state by road cross at Churaibari, so the brief there is night-shift gate and yard work at transporter yards and godowns, the Dharmanagar rail goods point and the industrial estates. Further south, Teliamura in Khowai is the highway and railway trading town, and Gomati combines the Palatana power plant perimeter and switchyard with temple crowds at Matabari, where queue and vehicle control peak at the Diwali mela.

Agartala and its surroundings in West Tripura hold a dense mix: multi-occupier industrial areas at Bodhjungnagar and R.K. Nagar with round-the-clock units, an airport, a rail terminal, the Akhaura check post, campuses with hostels, and the city's hospitals and markets. Sepahijala, immediately south, adds gas power stations, gas gathering installations and the Srimantapur land port at Sonamura, with customs sheds and truck parking. At the southern tip, Sabroom in South Tripura is being built out as a freight gateway, so the work there is construction-phase and logistics cover at the SEZ site, the bridge approach and the rail terminus goods yard.

Away from the corridor, rubber and tea shape the work. Rubber processing units and estate stores around Santirbazar, tea factories and labour lines around Kailashahar in Unakoti, and latex and bamboo depots across Dhalai's hill blocks are dispersed sites on long single approach roads, where patrolling and remote single posts matter more than campus manning. Heritage sites in the region, from the Unakoti rock-cut carvings to Neermahal at Melaghar, call for visitor and vehicle management rather than perimeter guarding.
