In Arunachal Pradesh, much of what needs guarding is the public estate, and distance shapes the work. District headquarters being built out at Yachuli, Palin, Raga, Lemmi and Peram, together with circle offices, staff quarters, schools, health centres and the contractor camps on the approach roads, make up much of the requirement. Daporijo supplies a long chain of forward posts up the Subansiri, and in Anjaw the district offices at Hawai and the station at Hayuliang sit on a single valley road that is hard to resupply for months at a time.

The foothills and the eastern plains hold the commercial premises. Papum Pare combines the Donyi Polo airport at Hollongi, a hydro station on the Dikrong, university-grade campuses with student residences and the road freight entering from Assam at Kimin and Banderdewa. Namsai and Changlang add tea estates, godowns and oilfield installations with contractor compounds at Kharsang, Pasighat brings a university town and the industrial growth centre at Niglok, and Tezu's airport and the Parashuram Kund pilgrimage call for crowd and access management rather than routine static posts.

Along the western corridor, the pattern is seasonal. Everything bound for Tawang passes the inner-line check post and railhead at Bhalukpong, an operating power station spreads dams, tunnels and switchyards along a long corridor, and hotel and homestay stock at Bomdila, Dirang and Tawang follows a large visitor flow on a single high-altitude road. Ziro and Hapoli add event and crowd work in festival season on top of hospital, campus and office guarding, and Mechuka's tourism is concentrated in one valley. Where hydro schemes on the Dibang and the Siang remain proposed and locally contested, any construction-site requirement is planned only once a project actually mobilises.
